My Newest Addition "Skytrain"

After hearing that AGfarmtoys had a 1/72 scale diecast model of a C-47/DC-3 I just had to get one. I was tired of waiting for Corgi to release their 1/72 C-47. After just finally getting it today I was very pleased. Of course it could be done better but it will do.

1/72 is the MASTER scale!

Nice looking model Airasair! Is this the same model as the $14 ERTL C-47's?

Its only $14.99 at AGfarmtoys.com but it looks and feels like it should be more. Also here it is compared to a P-40 and B-24

Re: My Newest Addition "Skytrain"

Looks real nice paired up with the P-40 and the B-24. Stand looks the exact same as the one with my Wings of Texaco DC-3 and looks quite a bit like the Ertle DC-3.

Re: My Newest Addition "Skytrain"

Hey folks,
From those of you that have these ERTL planes, what are the draw backs? From the limited pictures, they look great. Thanks

Landing gear retracted looks fine, but extended, probably could have a bit better detail.
