Yep - SB and CC were the only ones that I had a problem getting. All the others were being dumped cheep on ebay or TM

Costal Command is my favorite for both B17 and B24

Coastal Command is my favorite for both B17 and B24

Funny you should say that Timbo,

Like you, I bought both (from E-bay) & they were my only one's of each - until one of the regulars on the Brit' forum put out a call for an Early (Honington 9 Sqdn) Vickers Wellington, offering to exchange a 381st B.G. B.17 ("Sweet & Lovely") in it's place......

(he didn't like the shade of 'Olive-Drab')

Me, being liberal minded & knowing how O/D fades (faded); even in the E.T.O. had no (major) misgivings, so the swap went ahead.

Curiously, my (regular) local stockist has had both in, over last few weeks, under the listing of...."Rare" (Corgi).

The 9 Sqdn Wellington was going for £55 (& sold !); whilst the B.17-F was/is £5 cheaper & (still) hasn't sold !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

I don't regret the swap for one minute ~ & still feel I have the better (& more Impressive model) anyway.

Seen quite a few B-24s on eBay going for fairly reasonable prices.

I have

8 Lancasters
8 B17's
13 B24's

I figure that if you are going war, you should go to war with enough firepower to make a difference.
