I thought so too JP. The pictures just don't do her justice. I wanted this ship b/c of the historical significance and also b/c I've heard people say the detailing is bit better than other prebuilt wooden/diecast ships like the FM Missouri.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Nice,the railings look nice.What is the size,(length) scale.

According to the Danbury Mint website, it's about 20 inches in length and comes in 1:500 scale.

I have those Gearbox 1:700 scale ships, Those nowhere compare to that.
