Re: New Craft in my Hangar

I think the general opinion is that they come out even, some aspects of each plane are better than the other , it seems its a draw.

btw Brunowbe, all the Corgi P40s are good to brilliant.

I seem to remember that one of them is the wrong Mark for the pilot its supposed to represent but I cannot remember which one.

God Bless America.

This bird just arrived and solved my dilemna about a larger scale P-51. I couldn't be happier with it. It was a bit trickier to get together than the GMP P40s. Enjoy!!

Re: New Craft in my Hangar

Here are some shots of the Doolittle's Raider B25 I just picked up. I also posted some shots of it next to a 1/48 FM B25 for some size comparison. Enjoy!

Yep! That’s the one. That’s her! Number AA35302, the Doolittle Tokyo Raider. Ain’t she a beaut!!!!

I’m telling ya, brunowbe, you’ve gotta buy some stable mates for her. You won’t be happy until you do–!

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

It'll be a while before she gets any stable mates. I've got 3 models inbound (a 1/48 HM Newberry Spit, 1/32 Corgi Gotz Bf 109, and Corgi 1/32 P51 Old Crow which I just acquired from my dad for the 1/48 B25 Mitch the Witch that is pictured above). I hated to trade the big B25, but it's hard to display that sucker without a stand for it. Oh well, I always wanted Old Crow.

It'll probably be August or so before any new ones come my way unless I stumble upon some sort of outrageous deal that I can't pass up.

Re: New Craft in my Hangar

These just arrived and will probably be the last purchases/acquisitions I make for a month or 2. There's a 1/48 Spit from HM, 1/32 Corgi Old Crow P51, and 1/32 Corgi Gotz Bf 109. Enjoy!
