Re: New Craft in my Hangar

Fellas, what is your opinion of US35207 Corgi P40 Kittyhawk flown by Bobby Gibbes with Kangaroo kicking some unidentified animal in the bum? I got it brand new for $13.00. I hope it goes well with the GMP P40.

Have that one and really like it, and you picked it up for a nice price too.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: New Craft in my Hangar

Have to agree with CC here. I had this plane at one time and it is a very nice model. The price you paid for it is UNBELIEVABLE! Enjoy!

Thanks CC! I didn't realize the entire bottom was painted black, it really makes it look kind of evil and sinister.

Thanks trex.

Thanks JP.

Fellas, since you all seem to have good taste and expertise in diecast aircraft, I feel that I need to add a larger scale P51 and need your advice. Any suggestions of ones that can be attained at a reasonable price (read cheap)? Should I go for a 1/32 Corgi or a 1/35 GMP? Thanks for sharing your opinions.

Re: New Craft in my Hangar

Since you have GMP and Corgi now it be wise to get one of each ...Old Crow in Corgi would be nice and Tuskegee Airman P-51 would be nice in GMP because they don't cost too much now days even BBD GMP P-51D is sweet too.

My dad has Old Crow in the olive drab by Corgi and I really like that one (I'm thinking of either getting the silver version of Old Crow or Jumpin Jacques to go with my FM version if I get a Corgi Mustang). The cheapest I've found the Tuskegee Airmen GMP is over $100, so I've thought about waiting for either a Missoui Armada or Marie from that one auction site where the P40s came from (figure I can get one or the other for about $50). I'm just curious which mold is better, the Corgi or the GMP. I've seen the Corgi in person and it is beautiful, I've never seen the GMP in person. That's my dilemna.
