Re: New Craft in my Hangar

Your last photo is the best one brunowbe.

That is one mean looking warbird !!

I'm hoping to be able find a certain Spitfire made by Corgi (either the 1/72 or the 1/32) that shares his name.........Kiwi.
My wife received him for free from a woman she works with who breeds the little guys.

Thanks CC. I hope to be adding the last 2 once that darned economic stimulus check arrives. It was supposed to have been direct deposited on Friday, but that didn't happen. I guess I'll believe it when I see it.

I wish the picture of our bird actually showed his color better. He's a lot more colorful than picture shows.

Mine was deposited on the 15th, what to do, what to do.

Re: New Craft in my Hangar

Jim,
I caved, you win. I just got my first P40, it's a GMP RAF Kittyhawk. It was only a few bucks more than buying the 1/72 Corgi model I wanted as my representation of this aircraft, it was also a desert one that fought in the Meditterranean theater (I prefer Europe/Med./N. Africa to the Pacific) and that played a part. I have no idea where I'm going to put it (again my "prime" space is reserved for the last 109s), but I couldn't pass it up.

I'll put pics up once I receive it.

Re: New Craft in my Hangar

Here are some pics of my new GMP P 40 Kittyhawk. Corgi's P 40 Kittyhawk US35207 will soon be joining it. Enjoy!

Impressive new addition! It makes for a good speaker accessory.

Thank you Jim, not only for your kind remarks, but also for your input on getting a desert scheme P40. Another will soon be joining it.

Thank you Starman.

Thanks CC. I'm hopefully adding a new (well actually used, but new to me) shelf unit so I don't have to use the floor speaker. God forbid vibrations cause it to roll right off (maybe I ought to install the wheel chocks).

Fellas, what is your opinion of US35207 Corgi P40 Kittyhawk flown by Bobby Gibbes with Kangaroo kicking some unidentified animal in the bum? I got it brand new for $13.00. I hope it goes well with the GMP P40.
