Re: New Craft in my Hangar

Of course I meant that the pilot of the 109 would be an American and the pilot of the P40 would not. Call it a captured 109!

Oh, OK then.

Re: New Craft in my Hangar

I see you like the P-40 as I do the Bf-109. If I were to get a desert P40, it would probably get shot down by my 109s!

The facts prove otherwise my friend.

Re: New Craft in my Hangar

I can see now that the HM 110 is going to something I'll be looking for when somebody gets sick of theirs. Somehow seeing it with the other models makes a greater impression. Nice collection brotha'!

Don't forget the targets are my airfields, Leigh-Mallory, and you're not getting fifty, you're not even getting ten.

Thank you parsig9. I just received my Hackl 109 (thanks stwhite!) and have rearranged all of my 1/32 Bf109s. I'll have new pictures of all 5 together once I can figure out what I did with that digital camera.

The 110 is nice, I have two small complaints about it though. The stand could be more stable and the tail is a tad crooked compared to the wing. Other than that it is a sharp model and I look forward to more of them.

OK Jim, which 1/72 P40 would you recommend? I've been thinking about getting The Flying Mule's Corgi special commission. Is it a good one?

If you're referring to the 'Tex Hill' Flying Tigers version it is definitely worthwhile - definitely one of my favourite pieces of 1/72 diecast even though it is a P40 ...

Favorite Corgi P-40 for myself would be AA35202 RNZAF WWII - Aces of the Commonwealth P-40E Kittyhawk 1A. Just like the paint scheme for this one.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Uh...........Jim......I thought I would provide you some video of Hans Marseilles killing a P40 in a 109 from his gun camera. It might be painful for you to watch.
He kills a Hurricane too.

On a more serious note, what are the facts, Jim?
