Re: New Craft in my Hangar

You are building an impressive collection Brunowbe, it seems you will soon be the proud owner of all the Corgi 1/32 Me 109s.

They are superb models, I love em.

you seem to be short of a certain type of plane in your collection, oh now I get it, you hid it away so that it didn't show up all the others.

Thank you Jim. I just hope I can find the last 2 I need at a decent and/or reasonable price. I am still holding out hope for the working range Graf 109 to be released. I would also really like to add a Ju-88 and an He-111, but first things first, finish off the 109 collection. Amazingly it's cheaper to get all of the big ones than the little 1/72 Corgi ones.

I agree, its crazy that some of Corgis finest diecast ie the 109s can be bought so cheap.

I paid between $40 and $60 each for my set. Red 6 cost me $40 and Hackl was the most expensive at $60.

pssst, you need a P40.

Re: New Craft in my Hangar

A nice collection, indeed. You seem to specialize in Luftwaffe and some U.S. warbirds. Don't any of the British or Japanese planes tempt you? Or are they and, perhaps, a few Italian, Russsian and French planes just a few rungs down on your wishlist?

I like my Luftwaffe birds! Believe it or not, the only U.S. birds I purchased were the Gentile Spit and Thunderbolt, the others were freebies. Japanese, Russian, and French planes do not do it for me at all. I wouldn't mind getting a 1/48 HM British Spit or 1/32 Corgi Spit, would also like another Mossie (maybe a 1/32, then again maybe not), but I want to get all of the Luftwaffe planes accounted for first.

Ok then you have to get yourself a desert scheme P40 to bite the tails off your mid east camo Me 109s.

GMP perhaps?

I see you like the P-40 as I do the Bf-109. If I were to get a desert P40, it would probably get shot down by my 109s!

BRUNOWBE! And coming from a fellow Ohioan! Almost makes me ashamed!

Of course I meant that the pilot of the 109 would be an American and the pilot of the P40 would not. Call it a captured 109!
