Some JU-88s

This was one of my favorite WW II warbirds. A real mean machine,

Re: Some JU-88s

Great looking group of Ju 88s you have there. Your night fighter is a real standout piece. I wonder how long it will be until someone does a diecast Ju 88 night fighter.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Corgi already did. Check out AA36704.

That one is still a bomber variant. The FuG 200 "Hohentwiel" was a surface-target search radar and was used mostly for anti shipping operations. Still could use a good Ju 88 night fighter variant.

Re: Some JU-88s

You are right about it being a mean machine Epazian.

The Spitfire and Hurricane pilots all said that the 88 was a difficult one to shoot down.

God Bless America.

Re: Some JU-88s

Nice! I don't have one in my collection yet but I agree -- a very cool bird for sure. I'm just waiting for the right "one" -- hopefully the upcoming BOB livery from the Pooch...

Re: Some JU-88s

Could we get a close up of your night fighter?

Re: Some JU-88s

Great job on the night fighter. Like that you have the aerials on the vertical stabilizer and also the Schrägemusik armament.

Re: Some JU-88s

Great collection of Ju 88s you have there. I have just one - I was extremely surprised at how small it was compared to other bombers in my collection (such as the He 111). I too hope that Corgi releases a NF variant. You did a great job with yours.
