Very nice indeed!! I have become a more recent fan of the biplanes and you have some real beauties there! I especially like the Russian and Spansih (Kondor?) models...thanks for sharing. What scale are they??

Thanks. These are all 1:72nd scale models---a mixture of diecast and plastic.

Re: Part Of My Growing Biplane Collection

Impressive collection of biplanes. Any chance of a close up shot of the He 51s?

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: Part Of My Growing Biplane Collection

You did an excellent job on this pair (Really neat choice in paint schemes). The He 51 is a real nice looking biplane, and kind of hard to find kits of them. Hasegawa put out 1/72nd and Classic Airframes did one in 1/48th scale. I have to see if I can hunt down one of the Classic Airframes models. Thanks for posting the close up shots.

Re: Part Of My Growing Biplane Collection

Great pics as always Epapazian. Thanks for sharing them.

I especially like the He 51s & The I-15s. And every last one of the Italian birds. And the floatplane Swordfish...

Pics like that are dangerous - I'm lucky that almost none of those birds are made in diecast (yet)

Some of them are. For example the green and brown Fiat CR-42, the three-color Fiat CR-32, the HS-123, the Green I-15 with the pilot figure and the Chinese Hawk are all Altayas. And I had a devil of a time getting them into shape due to glue blobs, missing parts and other flaws. Model Power is also represented with repaints of two Fiat CR-42s---one in Hungarian colors.
