Re: Four Of My Strategic Bombers

The Atlas-made Tu-95 (Tu-20, as denoted on the stand) is not quite up to the quality of the Corgi B-52's in some regards. Click on the first thumbnail posted by win_arc uptopic and you can see the rather large gap between the upper and lower fusealge casts, as well as the wing cast. You don't see that on the Corgi B-52's.
On the other hand, the Tu-95 model has more detail in the form of antennas, tail guns and such, as well as the propellers of course. The props don't turn, btw.
The gap was not something that kept me from getting the model though, it's excellent otherwise.

Yes, I agreed with 91ken, the quality of Atlas TU95 model is less impress than the other Corgi Bombers model. But this is only choice for me now in the market, i'm love all the Russia bombers model. Here some more pics of it:

Re: Four Of My Strategic Bombers

It is such a unique aircraft, kind of wish Corgi would do one of these.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: Four Of My Strategic Bombers

As my promise, i post some more pics of Atlas TU-95 Bear. Have some disappointed with model that the engineer fan not rotate, the landing gear not work, the rather large gap between the upper and lower fusealge casts and one important that the model cannot stand by it self without the stand, because the tail too heavy so it's not balance to stand (that's one stupid mistake from Atlas). Hope Corgi or another brand 'll release the better one. I would be willing to sell it and wait for another one.

The "engineer fan"?
I'll have to remember that.
