Tu-95 would be a interesting choice for 1/144 scale with regards to strategic bombers.

That is a neat looking model, and thanks for posting some pictures of it. It would look good sitting next to the Corgi B-52, make for a nice bit contrast.

The Atlas-made Tu-95 (Tu-20, as denoted on the stand) is not quite up to the quality of the Corgi B-52's in some regards. Click on the first thumbnail posted by win_arc uptopic and you can see the rather large gap between the upper and lower fusealge casts, as well as the wing cast. You don't see that on the Corgi B-52's.
On the other hand, the Tu-95 model has more detail in the form of antennas, tail guns and such, as well as the propellers of course. The props don't turn, btw.
The gap was not something that kept me from getting the model though, it's excellent otherwise.
