Re: Most Expensive Model

The most expensive diecast in my collection is my Corgi (MZ Commission) Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster "Phantom of the Ruhr".

Second most expensive - my RCAF Lancaster by Corgi

Man, those things are expensive. My B-24 is just as big and it cost less than half as much as the RCAF Lanc

Re: Most Expensive Model

My Corgi Flying Mule ME-262 Galland. I value it @ $200-250. There were only 262 pieces made.
Cost wise the most expensive purchase for me was my Black Aces CW F-14. $65 plus shipping.

Re: Most Expensive Model

My FOV 1/16 King Tiger: $450.00 or my 1/6 Sherman (not diecast) $550.00. I had an aluminum 1/6 Tiger I that I bought for $700.00 but I got rid of it because I didn't have time to build it and make it an R/C.

For diecast planes, my Corgi Lights and Sound Lancaster for $120.00.

I second that. My most valuable plane is the Corgi Me 262 Flying Mule special.

Ok, there are not that expensive ( just cost me a lot of time searching ) but they are hard to get.

At least the first three, the others are still available

Re: Most Expensive Model

Like ChairmanMilo mine is the POTR Lancaster, followed closely by the Corgi BOAC Mosquito AA32804.
Dollar wise I guess the Lanc in USD was $240 & the Mossie around the $190 mark

I include the postage to get the all up cost (& therefore the insurance value)
