Hello John, you are right.My picture was not indeed the best.But my digi cam is now several year old, so not the best choice for close-up pictures.
I have the model now in front of me and it does looks like the one on your picture.Mine was way to dark

Well I actually have 2 models that are the most expensive ones in my collection.

POTR at $ 240.00 and AA32612 Lancaster DamBusters MkIII Guy Gibson at $ 210.00

The old Aussie Mossie has just become my most expensive model as one has just sold on Ebay for 230 pounds..around 485.00 AUD.

That's outrageous!! I got one around 6 months back for £72 & that was bad enough, paid just over £80 for my BOAC Mossie which is even more HTF.

That is a sharp looking Mosquito model.
 

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.
