Re: Most Expensive Model

At least the first three, the others are still available

I love those FW's. Awesome paint scheme from Africa.

Re: Most Expensive Model

The most I've ever paid for a single model is $150 -- for the original release GMP Old Crow, which I still think was worth every penny.

The most I've ever sold a model for is $300 -- my RO1 Minichamps Panther that I think I paid $60 for when it first came out.

Oh wait, I think I paid $175 for my MOM and BOBMF sets, delivered,

Re: Most Expensive Model

The most expensive model I've ever purchased is a Topping F8U-3 Crusader III that I got off of Ebay for 500+ dollars. It was a lot of money, but having only seen one of these ever before, I was quite happy to spend it. It is an original Topping, made in the USA, and its only flaws are a peeling wing flap decal, a gap in the Navy title, and a broken sidewinder from its Starboard side. It has followed me here to Georgia, and is proudly displayed in a glass encased display space, along with a normal Precise Crusader and an Allyn F4D. These models are plastic, and a bit pricey at times on Ebay, but worth it. This particular model looks like a flying shark every time I see it. It gets bonus points for being made in the USA.

Re: Most Expensive Model

The most I paid was for the MOM set, a little of $200.

Re: Most Expensive Model

Dangit, all that mention of the MoM set reminded me that THAT is the most expensive item in my collection! D'oh.

Re: Most Expensive Model

My Erich Hartmann 1/32 Corgi Bf-109G is my most expensive ($150) and most valuable (to me at least, that would be the one diecast model that I would choose to have if I were only allowed one).
