My French Fighters

Thank goodness for IXO and EasyModel because I like a little variety in my collection. Here are my three French fighters. From left to right they are an IXO Bloch MB.152, IXO Dewoitine D.520 and an EasyModel Morane Saulnier MS.406.

What I'd like now is for someone (HM?) to make a 1/72 Curtiss H-75 Hawk in French colors to round out the Battle of France main French players.

Re: My French Fighters

Very nice !

If only HM could make as beautiful a 1:48 H75/P36 as the Buffalo, I would buy several !

Wait and see...

The Curtiss Hawk 75A would look great in 1.48th scale, and would definitely pickup every version put out. (Kind of like it similar to how I like the Buffalo.)

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Nice collection of planes, and have to pickup those books too. I wish they made some more of the French aircraft from WWII.

Re: My French Fighters

Thanks for posting the pics, LeeG. Now I'm sorely tempted to give my RAF birds some ALA company

Visiting the Model Hangar can be hazardous to the wallet. It has been for me!

Re: My French Fighters

After a while the French substituted sand for the upper surface blue/gray. Looks better to me.

Re: My French Fighters

I would sure like to see the Potez 630 done as a diecast model. I have been debating picking up a 1/48th scale kit of this one put out by Azur.

Totally & utterly in agreement with ya, Epz'.

That triple tone camouflage is one of the nicest colour-schemes going !!!!!!!!!!!

Somehow, the Grey makes the previous (alternate) scheme look SO MUCH more 'drab' & uninteresting.
