Re: My B-26s--Large and Small

I have been checking Target every so often also, and have never seen the B 26. I somehow doubt that they carry them, unfortunately.

I'd be leery of getting one at a store like Target. Why not buy your FOV B-26 from your favorite online seller. At least if you pick up a bad one they will probably replace it for you. I just happened to be scanning items on the On Mark International site yesterday and saw it listed at $45. Not bad for a 1:72nd scale bomber.

It's the same model right? FOV don't ship different quality models to different retailers. Seems Target return policy is real easy to deal with.

Re: My B-26s--Large and Small

I dont have a B-26, what is a good one?

If you want a great deal on a great B-26, go to ClassicCloseouts.com and put "airplane" in the search box. You can pick up a FM 1:48 B-26 ( 2 to choose from ) for only $59.00. Use coupon code "20Cart" and you will get 20% off plus free shipping, which makes the price only $48.00. You cannot beat that price for this airplane.

Also, there are about 25 other planes you can pick up for great prices. I have purchased 6 planes from them over the past several months, and never a problem.

Just curious if any forum members have had any of these turn up at their local Targets?

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

E,

Who makes the 1/72 B-26 to the right and slightly in front of the FOV B-26?

That's one of my solid resin castings, circa the late 1990s. These were specially made custom jobs---sort of, my own private brand.
