Display Cabinets, Question

Apologies in advance if this is not the correct section but it seemed appropriate.

I'm having some display cabinets built in conjunction with some other fitted furniture. I was wondering what spacings members have there glass shelves at.

The cabinets are quite deep (500mm) and it's looking like 4 shelves at about 300mm spacings or 5 shelves at 240mm. I don't generally display my 1:72 scale aircraft on stands (all sitting on their undercarriage) but I don't want to overcrowd things and loose visual impact.

That said that extra shelf provides a bit more display area!

Opinions greatfully recieved.

Welcome to the forum, and those are nice and deep cabinets. They should make for a great looking display.

Re: Display Cabinets, Question

Welcome to the forum Tornado, I would go with 5 shelves to get the most display area, but if you have the room for future expansion meaning adding extra diplay cabinets then go with 4.

God Bless America.
