Some Of My WWII Era Biplanes

Three manufacturers combined to supply these biplanes for my collection.

Re: Some Of My WWII Era Biplanes

Nice looking Fiats! It would be nice to have a Corgi diecast Fiat Cr 42 to display next to their Gloster Gladiators.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: Some Of My WWII Era Biplanes

Very nice group of 2-wingers!

I recognize the Corgis, but who are the other two manufacturers, just wondering?

And are they all 1/72?

Re: Some Of My WWII Era Biplanes

The Curtiss Hawk III, I-15, HS-123, Pete, Fiat CR-32 and the green and brown Fiat CR 42 are from Altaya's biplane series---all with major corrections and much repainting, detailing, etc. The Hungarian and Italian ( sand and spinach ) Fiat CR 42s are redos of Model Power planes.

Same here, would like to see Corgi do the Fiat Cr 42& Cr 32, Pete and the I-15. Hopefully Hobby Master might take a crack at one of these.

It's part of the Altaya biplane series.
