New additions to my fleet

I bought P-38 "Pat 3", P-51B (Gentiles) (I know y'all don't like it but I do and really love it!), Plastic F-105, M2A2 "Big Red One",and got Dragon's BBD P-51 for free, because it was broken. I also picked up Gunfighter for V-Day. The F-105 and the M2A2 are for my Dad and a friend of mine. I also took pictures of all my 1/18th stuff. Enjoy.

I'm resisting the urge to get that Corgi P-38.

Follow your eyes, your gut and your wallet my man. Regardless of what we do or don't like your collection is for you and reflects your taste. You have a good collection going there and you took good pictures. This collecting bag is so much fun and you meet some really interesting folks, learn some neat info and find endless reasons to laugh. Glad you shared with us. I do not think I ever welcomed you to the forum, nice to meet you.

Re: New additions to my fleet

Hey SamIam,

That is a nice P-38. The blue spinners really catch the eye. As the man without the AJ210 said, everybody here has there own preferences and though we tend to spout off about what we like and don't we all appreciate each others collections very much and especially like photos of them.

Edit: There is no man without the 210 I see from another thread. Well done Louie

NIce collection. And I really like the Corsair, I've got that same one in Mahogony.

Re: New additions to my fleet

Sadly that company in the UK does not have the 210. I am afraid my poor fellow forum member who pointed me to the site has not gotten the same e-mail from Phil in England. I wish that company would have updated it's website.

So far(sorry to hijack your thread sam) I have purchased an AJ210 from Singapore (guy disappeared never heard back from him)
From China (badly translated and non-updated site HH365) Got the bad news via e-mail. That was the site that started my "last AJ210 thrad, what a dummy I was.
I also purchased one from England and after 2 e-mail inquiries got the bad news.

I have pretty much resolved myself to fate. The lesson here Iamsam is to buy what you want when it comes out especially if it is a limited item. If not you could pay 4 times more than it costs or just not get it. That Dragon BBD used to be a very hot item it is a conerstone in many a collection.

Yeah my owner pulled it out of the office, and I was like WOW!. I knew it was rare and stuff, so that's why I jumped all over it. I'll have to make a canopy for it and paint everything on it, and the owner said he'd help me with it so i think it'll work out just fine.

Sam

P.S. Louie, no worries man, I'm only 18 and just really starting although I have 50 or so models, and love to get advice from you guys who have been in this business for a while.
