| That is a very nice collection you have there Louie. I'm not into WWI planes but your collection makes it all the more tempting. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Louie's World War 1 Collection Pics Nice collection, Louie. I have quite a few of those myself. I've got to get Udet's Tripe sometime, though, as it's a great looking livery. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Louie's World War 1 Collection Pics
Exactly! That's what makes it soooooo irresistible. You want C1 to stay in business, right? C'mon, pick it up! I only had one of the C1 Fokkers, but after admiring your three together, you convinced me to pick up the other two. Will do that this month when the Corgi Biddle SPAD comes to U.S. shores (hopefully this month). That will make 10 C1s for me. I will eventually pick up two more P-40s and the red Udet Bf 109... I am trying to do my part in keeping C1's aviation model line going. btw... I was looking at pics of the Biddle SPAD on the DAF (UK Forum), and couldn't help but notice the overscaled spars. Then I compared with your Matchbox model pics. These look a bit overscaled also, so the Corgi model may not be that far off from Matchbox... and with rigging, I am very excited. | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Louie's World War 1 Collection Pics Roger that on the Biddle. I will have to get this one so I can make the comparison. The Corgi Spads look good and I cannot imagine hearing all the guys talk about how much they like theirs and not being able to participate. I wish I could morph the best things from each manufacturer into one model. I may break down and get the Prince plane. I am just picky but the camo in that Nieuport sets it off. I am happy you are going to get the trio of Fokkers. They are the cornerstone of my collection. | |||||||||||||
