We don't even sleep in the same bed!!!!! Emailing is our only way of communication. Of course, until he is a legal citizen of Canada, and I can apply for the divorce......

Re: A little something I worked on over Christmas break

Well, if France is some sort of planet.....

I really thought that somebody like Tank Nut wasn't even from earth.... We always joke at home that he's communicating with our cats on a more in depth level than I am......

I'm sure that you guys must see the same things that I do..........

No problem SC! I'm just kicking backing reading your posts and enjoying someone else getting beat up by their wife instead of me (sorry Tank Nut). I know when to keep my mouth shut!!

p.s. Steal away!!!!!

Re: A little something I worked on over Christmas break

two words for you.....buy one!!!!!LOL!

You've got to admit, that's a pretty awesome display, just beautiful! Great work, Trex....how long have you been modelling for? You look like you are very experienced.

Thank you but I can't take the credit for modeling this display....it's actually an expandable 1/32-1/35 scale kit from Frontline. It IS an awesome kit! The buildings/ruins come prepainted, I just added the figures and vehicles. Each tile (that makes up a section of the street) is made of resin and is roughly 8"x8". The main kit is about $200 and then there are two other expansion kits with possibly more to come. It's much cheaper than buying individual buildings from a company like Build-a-Rama.

I did, however, make the wood frame which holds it together. I also built models for many, many years but don't have the time (nor airbrush anymore) to properly work on models.....so I took the cheap and easy way!
