So....What did Santa bring you???

I realize I haven' posted in a while, found a new addiction known as DRiPping......hope to invest some money, instead of spending it ALL on diecast aircraft. Pleasantly surprised this morning to find #0825 of 2400 RCAF Mynarski Lanc under the tree for me. Made working today almost bearable. Little hint to mom-in-law was all it took. She got it from Perry Aircraft, came in its original cardboard shipping box from China, excellently packaged, plane box is absolutely mint. Hope to post some photos later this week. New digital SLR Nikon should take some nice pics.
Cheers and Happy Christmas all.

Re: So....What did Santa bring you???

I don't expect to get any planes for Christmas but did get this excellent book. Lots of excellent photos and plan drawings. I \mMight have some more books waiting for me under the tree at my mom's where I'm headed for Christmas dinner. Amazon.com: British Destroyers & Frigates: The Second World War and After: Books: Norman Friedman

Also received a $100 gift card and that might turn into a Halifax or some Century Wings Intruders.

Some Buckeyes (and NOT the nut off the buckeye tree, if you don't know what they are otherwise, ask a Buckeye fan!), chocolate covered cherries (love'em!), much needed winter pajamas, a gift card to a cool restaurant, and a gift card to Half-Price books.

Re: So....What did Santa bring you???

Of interest here:

1. CC Welllington- I redid it like Harry and posted pics under repairs
2. Der Stern Von Africa DVD with Subtitles
3. Piece of Cake DVD set
4. Gift cert and $ to go to my local place and get........... Maybe the old 1/96 FM SR-71. I know it's there and just need to examine it for papers and condition.

It's a pretty overpriced place and this is all that's there that is worth the $ maybe....$195

May be tough to pull the trigger but with a gift cert. ????

Don't forget the targets are my airfields, Leigh-Mallory, and you're not getting fifty, you're not even getting ten.

Re: So....What did Santa bring you???

My only diecast related gift was the GMP Pacific Diorama for my newly acquired Texas Longhorn P-40..

Re: So....What did Santa bring you???

The standout gift was a CDC CF104 Starfighter. I have been looking for this for about a year. Buddy in the next office gave it to me.
