Re: So....What did Santa bring you???

No airplanes this year (I got enough of those for myself anyways) but the wife did procure a replica WWII aviator watch for me, which I've wanted for years

Re: So....What did Santa bring you???

No Die cast wrapped up under the tree, but I did get some cash, and well it went to a boxing day sale. Went to Modelers Choice to swap out a damaged HM Harvard that I received just before Christmas and walked out with a few extra goodies. Got the Corgi Legends FAA Swordfish, and some Corgi armour also. And I have finally been persuaded by you all here and have purchased my first 1/48, got the HM JJ Spit and its nice (but I don't want a 4th scale, dam you all... )
Also purchased a sports figure to go with a few other that I have.

Re: So....What did Santa bring you???

My three girls (my lovely wife and two daughters) teamed up to provide a diecast feast this Christmas. GA's P-51B ‘Hun Hunter from Texas,’ GA's Bf 109F Hermann Graf and HM's Luke Field T-6A.

Also under the tree were the books The First and the Last and Crowood Aviation Series Curtiss SB2C Helldiver.

Re: So....What did Santa bring you???

A new Detolf cabinet,(total now four) + a couple of useful things and $350. Which in turn will yield a model or two.

Only one, perhaps, but an EXCELLENT choice.
