Re: parsig9 collection shots

The new Trautloft 190 escaped its box tonight finally. So proud. Filing, assembly, searching the carpet for the little bits that blew off the springy plastic sleeve when I bumped it, and decals took 45 minutes. Just the way I planned it.

I do like these hefty little Dragon birds though. Best feel in the trade I say.

LMAO!! I wholeheartedly agree.......
I love Dragons Fw-190s, but it is an exercise in patience to get everything on and aligned decently.

That is one fine looking Fw 190. Do these come with stands? I've never bought a Dragon bird for their lack of certain markings, this one makes it hard to resist. If only I would be willing to put the proper decals on I would get this one and their trop Bf109 Black 6.

Hmmm....maybe one day one of these will show up in the classified section already done for me.

Oh, don't let a little thing like decals stop you. Paint yes, decals no! Aibrush work is for the artists but these Dragon birds are worth the trouble.

Call Squadron tomorrow and order:

I sheet Aeromaster Swastikas in 72
I bottle Micro sol
I bottle Micro flat

Brush, tweezers, Q-tips, something to chew on or smoke while you work.

Voila!

Re: parsig9 collection shots

Nice work! I have just noticed that I don' t have very many Luftwaffe planes - I may need to pick this one up to shore up the collection.

Re: parsig9 collection shots

Have to get one of those Dragon 190s, looks a bit better than the Corgi all white 190s.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: parsig9 collection shots

Today some MB close-ups. I got rid of my FM Old Crow last week and replaced it with this little sucker. I could not be happier.
A fine little model for $15.

The 190s are among my favs and I still have not purchsed the Barr 190 from DRW because of this little gem.

Enjoy the shots.

I agree i have the same ones....MB did a great job on these...To bad they did not make a gear down for these too...
To this day i think the Fw190A is one of the best ones out there.
Looks better when you added the swazi on the tail.

Re: parsig9 collection shots

Another nice SBD from HM today. 2 new ones today as I already added the Kate to the proper thread in the HM section.
This Dauntless is a keeper but the wash on the white parts is a little heavy for me.
