Re: parsig9 collection shots

Added the Frank by IXO in dark green. Also from Corgi, the Wild Sau 109G. The Frank was $15 and the 109 $50. both from Pete's and shipped free!
Worth the money? Looking forward to the HM Kate and maybe a Val someday.

Nice new additions!

Re: parsig9 collection shots

Two 109s touched down at parsig9 field this week. Really impressed with these and plan to get more as they become available!

What do you think?

Get them all Drew, these are really good diecast. I bought one and just had to get the set.

Strangely addictive this hobby!

Thanks Jim! Ya know, the problem is now the expensive ones are left and I'll have to lay out some serious dough.

Mrs. Parsig will not be happy!

Re: parsig9 collection shots

Well, I just got the Lancaster I've always wanted. It cost me G-George+ and I probably spent $50 more than I should have but...oh well!

Only this and Prune in Parsig hangar. Four RAF bombers on display together. Perfect

Re: parsig9 collection shots

Nice collection, I must agree.
Wish I had all the space available to get all my FM 1/48 out of their boxes.

Re: parsig9 collection shots

Well, my $30 Nicholson Hurricane showed up today. The antenna was broken at some point and reglued and there were drips of clear glossy glue on the model around the antenna area. I got this from diecastdirect and it is new so the botched repair must be a Corgi gaff. The DD website shows they have others like this for the same $ and they extended their $5 shipping off 'til May 12th so....

I taped it off and sprayed it and it's better but still noticeable. I can live with it for sure. That makes 3 in the hangar for a total of $95 or so. No wonder Corgi sold out.

Re: parsig9 collection shots

Sweet selection of Hurricanes couple posts up. Lots of good looking models in general.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: parsig9 collection shots

Of the TM models I picked up today this may be the one I was most pleased to see. True the Hackl was a great find but I always wanted to get the Brothers Hurricane cheap and modify it some. I feel this should have been an AA release and Corgi screwed up. Brothers deserves a better representation in my BOB collection.
