Very cool, like the B-17.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: Maritime Collection - Update

Very nice collection, DH. I didn't know that the Baltimore was used in a maritime role in WWII.

Re: Maritime Collection - Update

Very nice collection, DH. I didn't know that the Baltimore was used in a maritime role in WWII.

Hi Edward, the Baltimore was by RAF Coastal Command as a maritime patrol aircraft, I believe the RAF took up what remained of a French contract, after the capitulation of France. Some however flew for Vichy France based in North Africa, and actually carried out a number of strikes against Gibraltar.
