Re: hworth18's collection

What?! No tanks or armor?! Just kidding. I wish my wife would let me have a bedroom display of models.

Great collection Harry. I can just imagine what the other 50% would have been like.

I sometimes think about why I got rid of the other 50%, but it made sense to me at the time as I doubt I would've ever had room to display such a sizeable collection.. Now the collection is down to a more managable size although it still grows on an almost daily basis..

Re: hworth18's collection

Great shots Harry. Been a while. I'm getting a new camera this week and will have to do the same.

Few things I didn't see thought that I coulda swore you had. Do you have:

A PBY?
Any of those fine Dragon Mustangs?
Any Jets? Witty, Dragon, HM F-104, Corgi F-86 or Phantom?

Wellingtons?

Sunderlands?

Ju-52?

Just checking...

I have a Black Cat PBY, CC Welly but not on display and there are 2 Dragon Stangs (1 is hidden) in my pics, no Sunderlands or Ju-52s yet..
The only modern jet I have remaining is a CW Tomcat, although I do plan on adding a CW Moonlighters A-6 in the future..
I also have a Fortress, (2) Mossies (1/72 and 1/32) and the Halifax that I don't have room for along with several more 1/72-1/48 fighters..

Re: hworth18's collection

Crikey, small, meagre, I think not Harry,

That is an admirable collection and well thought out.

It seems you suffer from the same problem I have, space or the lack of it.

I did suggest to Lorraine that there is room in the lounge for a small case but the response was in the negative, very negative.

God Bless America.

Jim, show this post to Lorraine: Lorraine, you're a good woman, and I know you love Jim...could you see your way to let him have a small case in the lounge....if not for Jim, for ol' Doug and Mary Jane!

Captain you are assuming that I am a man of considerable courage, sadly I would rather face a herd of stampeding cattle than risk the wrath of Lorraine.

edit, I asked and she said that she already lives in a bachelor pad, the lounge is already full of planes and enough is enough.

Harry do you have this problem?

God Bless America.
