A Maritime Collection

From a rather scattered beginning I have specialised in WWII British and Commonwealth Naval Aviation..........(my wife downsized my study!!)

Nice looking collection and really like your Fairey Fulmar.

No kidding CC. In fact he has SEVERAL RAF models that, if diecast, I would love to get my hands on! Do you have details on these more unusual additions to your collection DH? For my sake I hope you aren't one of the super-talented model builders we have on the forum. If that's the case, while good for you, it means I have no chance to get such airplanes for myself (I have no modeling talent which is why diecast planes are important to me)

Years ago I went on an FAA building frenzy myself. Something about those airplanes.

Fine collection fellow Liffey dweller! I had noticed a tendency towards all thing naval with some of your repaints. You're lucky the 'other half' didn't downsize you!

At the bottom center of the first picture, is that a Fairey Barracuda? Where did you get that bird? Thanks for posting the pictures, its a very nice collection.

Thanks. unfortunately (or fortunately!!) no such talent!! The Fulmar & Firefly were purchased built. Soon to be joined by an Albacore & Barracuda.
