My 1/144 collection or "will someone make these in 1/72 please"

Just thought I'd share a few pictures of my 1/144 collection. This is my "I wish they would make these in 1/72 colllection." These are all plastic, mostly prebuilt kits from Japan. The corgi b-52 is diecast and makes for an interesting size comparison.

These are plastic kits from Japan. Each brand has various levels of completion. All were prepainted. Here's some pictures of two brands and how they come out of the box.

Re: My 1/144 collection or "will someone make these in 1/72 please"

Good pics Slammin!!! I have a considerable 1/144 collection and have the CafeReo Betty and Liberator on the way, along with a couple of Takara Rufes.. I have considered the Kates/Vals and others, but the fact that they are kits keeps me from ordering until I have time to assemble them..

Thanks for sharing..

Re: My 1/144 collection or "will someone make these in 1/72 please"

Thanks for the compliments guys,

hworth,
Bandai also makes a Kate and Val that are more complete than the f-toys ones that just came out. The dark grren kate in the pictures is a bandai, and the silver one is one of the newer f-toys.

Here's another picture to share. This is a J-wings F-15E eagle. This one impresses me since I think it is more representative of an F-15E than the dragon 1/72 model. It comes with the electronics poods, bombs, and CFT hardpoints that the dragon doesn't have.

The newly opened Hobbytown USA shop in my neck of the woods have quite a few of the 1/144th Japanese brands i.e. Bandai, J-Wings, Dyoshu(sp?) etc. and even the Furuta Star Trek ships I've seen. Is there any particular ones you're looking for? The price range for is between $7.95 - $9.99 each box. The only drawback with these products is you won't really know what's inside the box, as there is no indication as to what you're going to get once you purchase it.

Btw, nice collection you have there slammin! I do collect that scale as well.

I have been trying to get my Hobbytown USA to carry these, but no luck as of yet...
I know they say these are "blindboxed" but I think if you look on the end of the box, it does tell you which model is inside.. If you let me know which series they have, I might be interested in having you pick up a few for me..

Is/are there any 'specific' marks I should be looking for that would indicate the type of model that is inside the package? I'll have a close look at them come Monday and get back to you.
