Re: Armour Addict's collection (Major Update)

Wish I had a man room!

All I have is a cupboard at the top of the stairs.

I dont do tailburners but that Arrow looks good and was nearly good in real life so to speak.

Actually Jim it's more of a mancavern b/c of all the boxes and "stuff" crammed in there. My wife even shoved a few baskets of clothing in there for storage (afterall she only has 4 closets for all her clothes).

And the postman brought a new sheep to the fold. Meet the rarest of FM/As ME 262s

Hi Armour Addict - I've just read 'Post No.95'. you've mentioned the details, BUT NO CATALOGUE No. ????????

So, seeing as you've "dangled the carrot" on what looks like (by far) the nicest Franklin Mint Me.262 - any chance we can have the full catalogue number please ????

Must admit, I thought that FlyX's "Nowotny/White-8" was the best, till now.......

I never knew that this (apparently RLM.75/76) Marine Me.262 was on the market ? so it's a mouthwatering suprise.

AA, the Su-33 and Avro Arrow - - - which company made them??? TY.

Both are build plastic models I got off ebay. I think the SU-33 is Trumpeter and the Avro some odd vacu-formed kit or maybe Monogram.

Re: Armour Addict's collection (Major Update)

But why... still plenty of room in that new cabinet

Ha, let's call it "budgetary constraints" and other priorities.

As for the cabinet, still have some models in boxes...

But if there is a model I absolutely have to have it's going to be mine.

Hi Hornchurch,

the number is: B11B303

But be aware that it was only mentioned in one catalogue and is long retired.

Yeah, I think it is FMs best rendition of the Me262 even if it is an "fictional" paint scheme.

Cheers,
AA
