Freefall Kiwi's cramped collection...

Due to "domestic issues", I am restricted to one smallish mirrored display cabinet for my modest model addiction. Nonetheless, I've managed to squeeze in 90 (!) 1/72 variants into it, and I think I still have room for at least two more armour pieces...

Re: Freefall Kiwi's cramped collection...

Now that is packing in the models! You definitely fit in large selection models into what space you have available.

How many black eyes resulted from the "domestic issues?".....

Packed in is an understandment!

Nice job of mixing in the proper planes and AFVs in the respective sections.

Re: Freefall Kiwi's cramped collection...

You could always fit a lot of 1/72 figures in there.

Nice collection and don't feel so bad.. I suffer from the same problem as you although my wife is a little more forgiving and I have 2 cases.. I keep thinking someday I'll have my own room... Someday........

Cool Re: Freefall Kiwi's cramped collection...

Wow! No kidding, that's really tight! Lots of great stuff you got there. At least you can display some of your stuff.

Now that is a fine example of space management!

Thanks for the feedback; I've found the only hassle with the cramped cabinet is it (obviously) makes it harder to handle particular models. Have to unlock the Cabinet (protection from my toddlers) and remove some models to access a particular one. On the other hand, in my view the crowding creates an interesting visual collage effect!

I've put pilot figures in all the IXO's I have, together with the Dragon T-Bolt and the HM A-4P, and figures in several of the open-top AFVs. My painting skills are fairly basic so I much prefer to use FoV or Dragon figures, where available
