Re: Armour Addict's Collection

Hi people!

Thanks for the great feedback and warm welcome to the forum!

I know I am a little "over the edge" about collecting but what the hell

This evening I am going to post some close-ups of the main cabinet.

The different and pretty rare Hornets are worth it, I'll promise! (And I haven't all Hornets I got on display)

Smile Re: Armour Addict's Collection

Well, "Armour Addict" you really are! And I thought I was bad...

Hey, I've got to ask: where did you get that display cabinet in the very first (top) picture (the one with the Tornados on the bottom)? That look big enough to house some of the Armour bombers and transports, maybe (certainly the B-25, B-26, Ju-52, C-47 and He-111. Not sure about B-17 and B-24). I need one of those...

lol was thinking the same, however I think an "Intervention" is necessary in his case!

VERY nice collection, and if ever an intervention is necessary, and the only cure to your addiction is admitting you have a problem, and want to get rid of your collection, I'd be happy to assist. :-)

Hehe, thanks!
I already admitted but I won't part with it. I am probaby not going down with it King Tut style but who knows?

Well, tell me what you are looking for, I might help since I always got some models to trade or sell.

Thanks!

They are ALL 1/48 scale except one 1/32 Swiss F-5 Tiger plastic model I recently got.

Currently I got some major reconstruction of my collection (new cabinets ) going on.

I will post pictures once I am done.

Edit: Here it is!

Simply superb collections, Armour Addict!

Who makes those display glass cabinetry, just curious? Thanks.

Thanks man!

Sorry I don't know either. I got them from ebay. Unfortunately there is no manufacturers plaque or anything.

With the new P-51 handsigned by Col. Anderson I updated my WWII section a little. It seems I simply got to many models! *sigh*

Re: Armour Addict's Collection

I did some rearranging because of the new models that just came in.

Also I got myself some aircraft motivs printed on canvas.

Enjoy!

Well in the spirit of "helping someone out of a problem" you don't by any chance possess a CDC 1/100 JASDF F-104 "Red Tail"
