Aradrom's diorama collection

These diorama's are the displayed throughout my house but mostly in the living room.
All the diorama's pictured here are built by me.
There are a few more that I'm planning in the near future but also displaying space in running out.
Enjoy...

Re: Aradrom's diorama collection

May I ask a question? thank you, I am not well versed in the figure and model side of the hobby so I would appreciate some info about the figures and jeeps in the superb P40 dios. Who makes them and am I correct in thinking the P40 is 1/72 scale FOV?

Please keep posting ,I love these Dios of yours they are very well crafted, brilliant in fact.

Jim,
  • The figurines from P-40 & P-51 dio's are borrowed from the CORGI's B-17 Nne -O-Nine (US33309)
  • You guessed right...the P-40 is the FOV's Pearl Harbour release.
  • The Jeep vehicles are 1:72 HONGWELL / CARARAMA
  • The yellow U.S.AIR FORCE Tanker is 1:72 CDC ARMOUR.
  • The bomb racks and generators are CORGI's acessories (some models come with it).
  • The US Marines soldiers from the UH-60 Balckhawk diorama are FOV.
  • The Jerry cans, oil barrels & ammo boxes are parts from the FOV (US Marines kit)
Thanks for asking...

Beautiful dios and great job! I like the P-40 dio especially.

Re: Aradrom's diorama collection

Aradrom, very nice diorama collection. It shows how even relatively small dioramas can really bring models to life. Some day I hope to have the time (and skill) to build a few of these for a portion of my models.

You are an inspiration!

Thank you for the great comments.
All the materials I used for these dioramas are from the Rail Road modelling landscaping stuff.
The Internet is a great source of inspiration expecially this web site: http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/
Check it out and then let your immagination flow...

Danke Schoen! However, don't be fooled by the flag, I'm an American, I just live in Germany right now. Aber mein Deutsch ist doch ziemlich gut...

Great site, thanks for pointing me there. Lots of good stuff...
