Re: FormerViperDriver Collection

FVD, that is one impressive collection. Do you have it under a special rider on your homeowner insurance?

Thanks Skydriver.

As far as insurance, I don't have a special rider (mine does not require it for models; it is a renters insurance, not homeowner. I'm renting as long as I stay in Germany, will buy again when I go back to the States some day).

Re: FormerViperDriver Collection

Latest updates: Corgi HH-60 US Coast Guard (bargain at Pete's Collectibles. I had been wanting this one for a while anyway)

New additions to still meager WW I collection: Carousel Nieuport "Baracca" and Dr.1 "Werner Voss."

New 1/32 line-up to include the Corgi Hartmann Me-109 I got from SkySurfer808 (thanks!) and silver Old Crow. Moved "Red 6" and OD Old Crow to new shelf.

Re: FormerViperDriver Collection

And a couple more: EI Patty Ann II (note creative use of Corgi P-51 stand for FM Galland Me-262, allowing more room on shelf), GMP P-40 "Texas Longhorn", and last picture has HM TBM Avenger "Bush" and IXO He-162.

I need to re-arrange all these 1/72s in a more logical fashion. Awaiting set-up of a new display case to do that.

Re: FormerViperDriver Collection

Very nice FVD...we have some of the same taste in Bi-planes, including the green and yellow ones by MP. I picked those up awhile back from a distributor that was going out of business at 70% off.

I really like the chopper you picked up. Mighty pretty. Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures.

Anything for a weird life.

Re: FormerViperDriver Collection

Some new arrivals to my collection:

The FM/Armour Rufe floatplane joins the Marushin group. Also, some Marushin pilots are now manning the cockpits and a couple of extra ones are just standing around looking...

Also, just below that, the FM/Armour "Lepla" SBD has joined the Carousel O'Hare Wildcat, now mounted on the stand that came with the HM Buffalo (see next picture).

And here is the HM Buffalo with some other Far East theater denizens:

The newly re-arranged North Africa grouping, after arrival of Carousel's P-40 Caldwell Tomahawk and Schroer Bf-109 (both very nice):
