Re: FormerViperDriver Collection

An excellent display FVD and it brought back memories of all the post WWII based Verem/Solido models I used to have before deciding to stick to WWII based models. For example I was very fond of my Alvis Stalwart as it took so long to get one, but she had to go. However I haven't brought myself to selling off my Renault 390 and Berliet tank transporters as yet, well they could be used for hauling WWII tanks couldn't they

But I should point out that you are not making it easy for me to shift entirely to 1/72 which I am intending to do ( :

Re: FormerViperDriver Collection

flyXwire,

I'm a very big Star Trek fan (I have all the movies and series on DVD), but I don't really collect Sci-Fi models. I have a couple, but that's it.

I do have quite a few of the Star Trek 4.5 inch figures.

FVD

I read from another forum that there are lots of diehard fans of Star Trek in Germany. I do have some ST 4.5" figures in my collection as well.

Re: FormerViperDriver Collection

Recent additions to the collection: Carousel Fw-190 D-13 and Corgi 1/32 Mosquito (finally gave in to that one, good deal on e-bay). Not pictured are the new Dragon 1/35 Ferdinand, a Witty Sea Fury, and my new HM F-104 (Pussy Cat) and MiG-21 (Russian AF).

Great new pics Viper...Before too long your going to end up like me "no more room"
Now all you need to do is add the Werner Voss Fokker Dr.1 with the other three WWI fighters i saw on there.

Re: FormerViperDriver Collection

Thanks Martin Baker. I've added my new Dragon 1/35 Ferdinand to those (quality not quite as good, but OK. See separate thread). I intent to get the Russian Army T-72 and maybe a Centurion soon.

I wish Minichamps would make an M-1A1 with European cammo. I'd buy that immediately...

Thumbs up Dear VD...

I am jealous !

Some questions if you don't mind :

I noticed a 1/48 Mig 3, is it a plastic kit ? And the 1/48 KI 61, Marushin or plastic ?

Where on earth did you find the B1bis tank (Gazo-line?)?! I WANT one too !!!

You even have a REPLEX VBL and Leclerc, I have always failed to find any ! And Paradecar ERC90 Sagaie too is rare like chicken's teeth, is it diecast ?

Many thanks !

PS : I would be happy to share my (much smaller) collection, but I still don't have a numeric camera...yet !
