Re: Kirk's Collection

Your prints are all fantastic. Like especially the "Leiston Legends" which i also search for myself but cant find anywhere. Are these all prints you have? I have now ordered 3 prints after seeing yours and they should come next week.
for your whole collection.
Did you framed the prints by yourself or by a professionally?

Regards
Daywalker

Thanks for the kind words Daywalker. Leiston Legends is still availible at several aviation art vendors try aviationarthangar.com, aviationartcentral.com brooksaviationart.com or valorstudios.com. I know all four have it in stock. It is signed by Chuck Yeager and Bud Anderson

I don't do my own framing I have it done by a professional. It would be nice though I would save some money.

Thanks again
Joe

Re: Kirk's Collection

I had a bad day at work but as soon as I came home that all changed with the arriveal of some new diecast. The first is the BBMF set from Modelzone. I missed out on the first so I pulled the trigger on this as soon as I could. The set was very hard to get but in the end it was worth the wait.

The second is CW VA-115 Eagles. I purchased this one from Wings and wheel for $59.99 shipped. Stock did not last as I only seen it on their site for 2 days.

Last is a print I bought from Dick Cole at the 2007 Wings Over Houston Airshow. This print is signed by Dick Cole and Ed Horton

Re: Kirk's Collection

All I can say is..........WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful variety of WW2 birds you have there, Kaptin!! How many aircraft do you have in your collection and how long did it take you to accumulate all of those?

PS: I have the Cyril Barton Halifax and it is rather nice!! I wanted the variant with the more commonly used Bristol Hercules radial engines.

Looking forward to annoying the 'former' Florida Diecast Forum members!!

Thanks for your kind words Theodore. I own a little over 550 models some are new and are stored away. I started collecting models 10 years ago and honestly I have no intentions of slowing down. The only thing that stands in my way is space. Notice some of my models on the carpet.

My only regret all these year is not buying the first 5 Corgi Lancaster Bombers when I had the chance.

Re: Kirk's Collection

Great addition with the BBMF set. They are some impressive looking models.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: Kirk's Collection

In the past couple of months I added several new planes to the collection. Instead of adding new pictures on a new post I switched out some of the old ones on the original posts. My collection can be viewed on posts 1, 2, and 3. Note to New members: I collect Military Planes only and have the following scales 1/32, 1/35, 1/45, 1/48, 1/72, and 1/44.

From the Brands listed below:
Air Command Aircraft
Carousel 1
Century Wings
Corgi Aviation Archive
Dragon Wings Aircraft
Eagles International
Forces of Valor
Franklin Mint
Gaincorp
Gemini Aces Aircraft
GMP
Hobby Master
IXO
Marushin Aircraft
Matchbox
Spec Cast
Witty Wings Aircraft
Yat Ming Aircraft

Keep'em flying.

Re: Kirk's Collection

Wow! Beautiful collection you have there! Only one model is missing though (I hope I am not repeating someone else earlier) but with your tag, where is the NCC 1701 USS Enterprise? I know Corgi made one, you need it.
