Re: Ara's 1/48 birds

Yeah, I always wanted that one as well. I got the ace od spades and the Midway one. They are great molds, with a great interior as well.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: Ara's 1/48 birds

Thanks djjeffhall. It's Franklin Mint's Cleopatra III. Here are a few more pictures. I compare the profile to a real cat, they look spot on

I know Carousel has a better P-40. And I'll probably get at least one of those sometime. But Cleopatra III is a nice model. She's got a bit of a wingroot gap, and some bottom screw holes. Also, the green color is, shall we say, not exactly matching my Federal Standard color chart for a 1943 era P-40. But she's mine. Thanks for looking!

Hey ZS-VAN,

Sorry for the delay in posting. I was away in Phoenix.

No, I haven't got that SBD yet, I hope the Mint comes out with another similar version, as they are in the business to presumably make money. It's no secret this version is highly sought.
