Diecaster's Anonymous

OK guys. You're a "collector" when you're at parties and a kid when you're at home. Feel free to add to this Diecaster's Anonymous rules of the game.

In no particular order:

Admit you don't have a problem.

Admit you fly your planes around the house.

Admit you think about the C1 D-13 more than your Significant Other.

Admit that, while arranging your "airfields", it's OK to mix nationalities.

Admit it's OK to own more than one scale.

Admit to forgive a lack of 100% accuracy (also known as the "Let It Go" rule.)

Admit you have the next $300 dollars already spent in your head.

Admit you have the shipping charge table of your favorite dealer memorized.

Admit it is OK to have more than one of the same a/c in your livery.

Admit you once dated a girl because her skirt looked like it had invasion stripes.

Admit your ping pong table looks better as an aircraft carrier.

Admit you've sent your rich uncle Eagles International links as gift hints.

Recognize that your diecasts serve as houseweights during hurricane season.

This is issued for successfully purchasing, receiving, and displaying a diecast purchase without the knowledge of your spouse or significant other.

Well if that's the case it will be a honor to wear that ribbon.
I have done that many times the last few months..
But i'm not going to admit to being a diecastoholic because i think i'm a
aircraftoholic since i also collect the 1/18 plastic birds too.
Now your making me feel bad.......

Welcome Brother. You are invited to come into this thread and sit with us. At any time, if you wish to admit your Collectaholic tendancies, please, you are welcome to speak, err, type.

I am NOT a diecastaholic! THAT word implies a problem....I have no problem...I also can quit anytime I want.....I just don't WANT to!

Problem - WHAT PROBLEM? Oh, all those boxes with airplane pictures. Well you see, I like boxes.

Haven't bought a single plane for over a week now. See, I CAN control myself!

Re: Diecaster's Anonymous

What if the CC bill is delivered by private email only and paid out of an account in the Caymans? What do I get then?
