Nice big P-38 you added to your collection.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: *Updated* Starman's 1/18 Plane Collection

Wow, that's a nice looking P-38 JP! I've got the original 21CT P-38 and the Cal Cutue myself but never lucked out on getting the Haleakala. One cool thing about 21CT P-38 is the side window slides down just like on the real thing....only wish they would've put the nosewheel in the right position!

Re: *Updated* Starman's 1/18 Plane Collection

I love the looks of the P-38 ...Looks good up there with the Pudgy P-38 too.
I have never used my gears on the P-38 yet....
I did take off my wheels from a old TBF and put them on the BBI Hellcat and it looks better.
Thanks for the tip on the P-38's nosegear.

...........................I just happened to hit ebay a few weeks ago and there was one there with a BIN for 40.00 i took a shot at it
and the model is perfect....... .....But thats not so bad for the price i got it for. I have seen these with a box go for 175.00 or more last summer.

Great Collection I dont know alot about tthe 1/18th Scale but I was looking on Ebay at Corgi's 1/32 scale Spitfires and one of the listings had a 1/18 scale Spitfire for sale I am not sure which company, But it was already going for over $150 with 3 Days Left
