Re: ChairmanMilo's Collection

Here's a shot of all four of the new 38(t) family released by 21st Century Toys (as well as my Forces of Valor StuG III Ausf G):

They display well together and I can't wait to hear whether or not they'll release other variants in the 38(t) family. Check out the detail in the fighting compartments!

Re: ChairmanMilo's Collection

I have the Panzerkampfwagen 38(t), but so far have had not luck finding either Marder or the Hetzer.

Re: ChairmanMilo's Collection

My first Corgi P-47D Thunderbolt (HC33811) - a "razorback", the "Rozzie Geth/Boche Buster" with fixed undercarriage. It looks a heck of a lot nicer than I had been led to believe, and the nose art is first class

Re: ChairmanMilo's Collection

ChairmanMilo, I have that exact one as well, plus lots of other Corgi Legends, and I like them all a lot. They are all just like their "AA" cousins, but with fixed landing gear. As I have no problem having some of my aircraft "gear down," I had no problem buying them, and there is the added advantage of no fidley bits to loose. Too bad they quit making them.

Re: ChairmanMilo's Collection

Recently delivered Corgi B-24J Liberator "Booby Trap" (AA34006). Many thanks to Merritec & Scott Merritt! I have waited so long to find a great Canadian retailer for diecast... and it turns out that he's just a short trip away!

At long last... I have received my Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster III "Phantom of the Ruhr" (AA32614). It was in absolutely mint condition, and even though they got the other part of my order wrong (they sent the BBMF Hurricane instead of the Malta Hurricane) I'm quite happy with the transaction overall:

I don't have the room to display either of them at the moment, but once I have that glass display cabinet from Ikea and I've figured out where to put it (probably next to my desk where my file cabinet is) they'll be out of their gigantic boxes.

Re: ChairmanMilo's Collection

My first Gemini Aces Bf 109, an F-4 (GALFT3001). The stands make it easier for me to cram more Bf 109s on that shelf comfortably. I'm very pleased with what Gemini Aces has done with this little bird:

My second Gemini Aces Bf 109F-4 (GALFT3004) as flown by Lt. Huy in Rumania, 1941. The "kill" markings representing ships are quite the novelty:

My latest Fw 190 by Corgi, an A-5 (WB99619) - the one that all Corgi fans ask one question about: "Why the hell was this made as a Warbird release?!" I don't mind, because all of my Corgi Fw 190s are displayed on their stands anyways:

Last but not least, my brand new Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Hurricane IIc (AA32015). I'm not going to send it back to Modelzone, but I'm definitely going to order AA32014 if I still can (maybe with the Mossie NF?):

Re: ChairmanMilo's Collection

Nine Mustangs so far - 3 Geminis and 6 Dragons. I've got one more Gemini on the way, and the rest of that shelf will be taken up by P-47s (whenever they arrive):

My Flying Tigers exclusive P-51C Mustang "Princess Elizabeth" (GAUSA2AAA). By far the greatest looking Mustang in my collection so far:

The last Dragon Wings P-51D has finally arrived (DRW50051S) and I couldn't be happier. Thanks to Parsig9!

Re: ChairmanMilo's Collection

Hey Milo! I don't see that Korean War sharkmouth P-51 in there...?

Got that one? I always wished Dragon would just sell the bombs in packs.
