Re: UPDATED Starman's Collection

JP I have a question if you wouldnt mind, but would you tell me what P40 is in the center of the trio of Matchbox models in you cabinet is please.
I just want to make sure that I havn't missed one out of my collection.
Edit,
Panic over JP I figured it out and I have it sitting smugly in my cabinet. Phew I thought for one moment there was a P40 out there I had missed.
Btw those Matchbox P40s are very good.

I bet you don't have this one.....Hottrap and i have them in our collection.....Custom made.

Jim hang your head in shame.

I knew I knew but the brain wouldnt work.

Re: UPDATED Starman's Collection

A few questions:

Have you painted your Corgi F-4 bases black or did you use some from other models?

Also, How did you mount you GA Bald Eagle and your MB F-100 onto Corgi stands? Have you tried other MB models?

I painted them flat black...These were stands i got from estates sales or yard sales.

Also, How did you mount you GA Bald Eagle and your MB F-100 onto Corgi stands? Have you tried other MB models?
Bald Eagle i think i trimmed the rubber tip of the stand or trimmed the hole in the P-51 a little bigger and the MB F-100 was a extra one i had and i had to make a little hole in the bottom of it to fit the Corgi stand.

Re: UPDATED Starman's Collection

Thanks for the responses.

I'm floored that you can find Corgi planes at yard and estate sales in your area but I guess you can't take it with you - and most wives can't wait to get rid of it!
