Re: UPDATED Starman's Collection

I agree, they look excellent - you can just imagine them swarming over the Reich in formation! I've But do you by any chance have any of the German nightfighters to take them on, like HM's Bf110, Ixo's Uhu, or one of those excellent Code 3 Me 262 nightfighter conversions?

Not that I'm trying to give you any ideas, of course Great collection!

Re: UPDATED Starman's Collection

Neat selection of Luftwaffe aircraft. I really like the Bf 110s.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: UPDATED Starman's Collection

USS RANGER "RED RIPPERS" F4F WILDCAT and "NO GUTS - NO GLORY" P-47D THUNDERBOLT are now part of the collection of 1:48 planes.
These Franklin Mint planes are very nice all pad printed tampos no decals ...just the way i like it.
If you don't have these planes in your collection i recommend both of them.

Re: UPDATED Starman's Collection

I just got the NGNG too, nice model -- but who's right on the anti-glare color, FM or Corgi? FM does OD, Corgi does black... the photos of the retored AC have it black, so the pooch is right?

I think it looks cooler with the OD -- and Corgi should not have used a gloss black (defeats purpose of the anti-glare, no?).

The Wildcat looks good, too.

Re: UPDATED Starman's Collection

The O.D. is correct. THe aircraft was painted all O.D. over gray at one time, and they just left that part when returning the aircraft to NMF.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.
