Fantastic collection, Starman. Tell me about the very large Fokker tripe and the Albatros...who made them, and of what? I'm green with envy!

They are both Mahogany wood planes.
I have had them a two years and kept them in the bottom case since day one.
The Dr1 i got from Pacific Aircraft the Albatross was custom made for me by BruceCrafts.

Awesome collection, JP!

So what's the story with the BLUE MAX (Pour le merite) medal? Is it real or replica, and where did you get it from? Thanks.

Love your ensemble man you got some serious zinc on them shelves! I am glad you like the MB P-51's and P-47's they were the best planes they made aside from the WW1 jobbies and the P-38's of course.

It's a Revell Baa Baa Blacksheep 1/32 Kit i made about 5 years ago and has been in there since.
This is the best i'm going to get until someone make a 1/32 in a diecast which now seem never

I wish it was real...It's a Replica i'm sure ...Looks to new and shinny to be a real one...I got that from a friend who's brother in-law flys the Dr1 in airshows around the country...He had a few and gave me one to put with my Red Baron collection which i thought was nice.
