Neat set up. You must be in Cloud 9 all the time.

Re: Mustangdriver's happy place

Thanks for the great coments guys. It is nice to hear that from other aviation fans. A good bit of my friends are not in to aviation, and I think they think I lost my mind sometimes. Some of the signed photos on my wall include ones from Vracui, Boyington, Doolittle, Ellen Lawson, Robert Morgan, Paul Tibbets, Bud Anderson, Chuck Yeager(Ialso have a signed pic of him and I together at Oshkosh), Bob Hoover, George Bush, Neil Armstrong, Jim Lovell, Fred Haise, John Glenn, Robert Scott, Tex Hill, Tom Cruise(well he flies P-51's), David Thatcher, Richard Peterson, 4 members of the Blacksheep Squadron, 4 pilots form the Flying Tigers including Dick Rosi, some of the tuskegee airmen, a few Sr-71 pilots, and a few more, but I am upstairs and can't remember. I have not done too bad for just starting to collect signatures.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: Mustangdriver's happy place

That was actually a photo I took at the WWII weekend in Reading a few years ago. It is a group of reinactors, and the pic is in B&W. The end result was a pretty cool looking picture.

Re: Mustangdriver's happy place

Just an update for you guys, I just got off of the phone with Bud Anderson. I am doing an article about him for the Air Force Museum Magazine. He was a true gentleman, and just an all around great guy. I talked to him for almost an hour. It was a real honor for me to be able to do that. I just thought you guys might be interested.

Re: Mustangdriver's happy place

If it came up: Is he planning on attending The Gathering of Eagles this coming September at Rickenbacker in Columbus?

Re: Mustangdriver's happy place

You know, I didn't think to ask him, although I am going to guess yes. Skunky , your name came up once or twice, mainly because I want them to make a Skunky edition silver corgi mustang for you.
