Re: My small collection

but what scale are these? They look much bigger than 1:72 scale. (Or is that just a visual "distortion" from the camera and angle. Not that the pics are not clear, just the relative size of the birds.)

Thanks everyone. The birds are either 1:72 or 1:144. I tried to squeeze as many as possible into the display cases and had to remove some in the process to keep in their boxes. My cabinet has already reached its capacity so I could no longer stack more display cases.

I am now hoping to add just one more F/A-18E soon and also a MIG-29 next year. But as some have mentioned, I also finding this hobby of collecting jet models real addictive.

Re: My small collection

Do I see the much sought after 1/144 Doyusha F-14B VF-103 CAG In The Christmas 2000 Santa Cat Camo in the second picture?

I have purchased two boxes of 1/144 Doyusha F-14’s in the attempt to get one of those things. If I am correct about the Santa Cat F-14B, how did you get it?

Re: My small collection

Small is good. Look at it from another aspect. While you're expanding your collection, many of us will be struggling for space. So many new models on the horizion and little room to display them. So happier days are ahead. Swoopi'n out.

A few retailers in Singapore sell the Doyusha series indicating the exact model inside the box. I was able to get the special item for the first 3 series but was out of luck when it comes to the latest F-15Js. Now eagerly waiting for the arrival of the next release of F-14s that come with clear canopy.

Thanks for the info could I get a close up picture of the bird; is there any chance you might have a lead on were I might be able to get one for myself?
