| CW F-14: How do I get the canopy open? So, last week I received my Grim Reaper Tomcat. What a beauty this is! Just fantastic overall quality. Now I know why you guys rave about CW Tomcats. I was especially pleased with the simplicity/ease of fitting the drop tanks, bombs, missiles, and landing gears. Anyway, there's just one thing I need help on. How do I get the canopy open? Lightly tugging at it doesn't work. I don't want to use too much force as I'm afraid of cracking the canopy or breaking the hinge area. Is there a trick to opening the canopy? Or do I simply slip a x-acto knife into one of the corners and lift? Advice appreciated. | |||||||||||||
