Whats the deal, why no more A-6 ?

I love my A-6 and I would like another, there are so many they could easily do, why did they only do 3 total different models? They did something like 10 Tomcats and have already done 3 A-7, Cmon CW we need another A-6 and please do not raise the price :-)

Yeah -- bring on the Intruders! I'd buy another one. Howzabout a VA-176 Thunderbolts livery? Or this VA-145 Swordsman bird:

1960s-1970s era planes, please!

Nice pic, Folgore. I'd buy one in that scheme, too.

Maybe the A-6 isn't selling as well for them?

Spector, Those are all Prowlers.

But now that you mention it I wouldn't mind if CW made a prowler too!

Does seem funny that CW hasn't done more Intruders (or any Prowlers). Lots of great liveries to choose from and armaments too. It wouldve been nice if CW had included an extended refueling basket with their KA-6D for an in-flight refueling display!

Hmmm I dunno Pappy. Would be nice if someone on the forum had a connection at CW and they could find out what their reasons had been for not making more up until this point. Because from what I can see they have sold out of all they have made (except for the last Black Panther).

Also, I just got my hands on a "last flight" A-6 and that was no easy task . So from what I can see they should at least have enough confidence in the mold to make a couple more versions.

Re: Whats the deal, why no more A-6 ?

yeah it seems like all but the KA-6D version did really well for them, and that's likely because it didn't/can't come with any bombs.

I'd have a couple of these, without hesitation .

Is the Century Wings A-6E Intruder U.S. Navy VA-115 Eagles NF500 1996 " Last Flight" accurate? Should its ordinance be white or gray?
