Still no air force A-7's?

Dont you think its about time for an air force ANG A-7D? Why does century not produce air force birds? I was thinking about repainting a CW bird in Colorado ANG markings but of course id have to add and change a few things first. What is different between the A-7E and the A-7D. I know the refueling blister. There were some pre pro pictures of a CW A-7 with this blister on there which means it could only be fore an air force aircraft but we still havent seen or heard about any......

I am sure hoping on one. If not, I intend to modify one of the other CW a-7s for my collection.

Yeah, what is up with that? CW needs AF models.

Keep'em flying.

Re: Still no air force A-7's?

Maybe there is a deal with the factory HM makes USAF jets and CW makes USN Jets...Who knows.
Thats not going to work ...HM makes the A-4 USN bird....My bad....

Re: Still no air force A-7's?

HM makes A-4's which are Navy birds & they also have USN F-4's in the works so I don't thank it's that.
I agree a USAF A-7D is lacking in CW's line up, they would sell tons if they made them.

CW needs to take a play from HM's book & do a little more listening to their customers.
Although they did listen enough to finally give us a Nam era combat bird in the F-8 & I give them mucho props for that.
Now if they could just do some Nam era repaints on their A-6 & A-7 molds I would be happy.

Thats true...A-4's by HM..
Maybe HM will turn around and try one next year...You can only hope...
After all they do have a lot of planes on their plate this year too.
It could be a while.
I would go for some Vietnam Era re-paints from CW.
