That's beautiful! I'll have to recycle my aluminum cans to afford one of these but it'll be worth it later.......

Re: New F-8 pics!!!!!

Oooooh, it comes with 3 different fuselage rail options---single Sidewinder, dual Sidewinder, and dual Zuni. I wonder if you can swap around and do a 3-Zuni + 1-Sidewinder combo (which is decently common and was used by several MiG-killers----they were sent on bombing/strafing runs with minimal self-defense weapons, but they only needed the one shot)

Hope the rails themselves are right, they look awfully symmetrical in that shot. (F-8's are noted for having very weird fuselage rails, all 4 are uniquely positioned--the left and right sets should not look the same) (I would be surprised if Century did it wrong, as it's very well-documented and every kit I know of has it done right)

Re: New F-8 pics!!!!!

Where'd you get these? They're not even on the website yet. I definitely want at least one F-8, I just want to see the other versions before I decide. The kill markings sure do give this one the edge though!

CW's exclusive US distributor sent them out to dealers this morning. The first release is going to be a flaps down, launch configuration version. The second release, "Fighting Shamrocks", which is due to be released the same month as the first one, will be a "normal" flaps up, or "clean" version.
